Ban Conversion Therapy in Blue Springs

Organizers, LGBTQ+ advocates, Blue Springs Democrats and many others are calling on the Blue Springs City Council to ban conversion therapy. Send an email now to City Council Members asking them to take action to end this harmful, dangerous practice.

Dear City Council Members,

I’m writing today as a concerned Missourian, asking you protect our kids and take a stand against so-called “conversion therapy” in Blue Springs.

Conversion therapy is a dangerous and universally discredited practice that falsely claims to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity. LGBTQ+ youth have been targeted by so-called conversion therapy across Missouri. It’s ineffective, cruel, and harmful to our kids.

The Blue Springs Human Relations Commission voted over a year ago to recommend the Blue Springs City Council pass an ordinance to ban so-called “conversion therapy."

Please, take action to ban conversion therapy in Blue Springs today.
